SKU073 – 1501SHBM: Black and Maroon Bomkai Saree with Ikat Work and Saptapar Weaving, Featuring Kumbha Motifs and Two Line Rudraksha Border

This saree is a beautiful blend of tradition and contemporary design, crafted from luxurious black and maroon silk. The body features a classic plain design in rich black silk, allowing the fabric’s elegance to shine through. Delicate Bomkai buta work adorns the black base, adding a touch of cultural significance. Buta refers to small, intricate floral or geometric motifs that embellish the fabric. Alongside the body is Kumbha Motif. The aanchal takes centre stage with captivating Ikat work. The border is a unique combination of elements. Two single Rudraksh borders, symbolizing protection and good fortune, flank a central Saptapar design. Saptapar, a weaving technique where the motif appears identical on both sides of the fabric, adds a touch of grandeur.
